Hannover Messe 2024: Smart Industry Solutions on Helium LoRaWAN
The Hannover Messe 2024 was a special experience for our team, marking a significant milestone in our journey towards revolutionizing the IoT and industrial technology landscape. Together with our esteemed partners UPLINK Network and the Helium Foundation, we enjoyed every bit of this great chance to showcase our latest innovations in smart solutions powered by Helium LoRaWAN.
From engaging discussions to groundbreaking live demonstrations, our presence at Hannover Messe 2024 was nothing short of inspiring. Join us as we take a look back at the highlights of this eventful time of 5 days.
Alongside UPLINK and Helium Foundation
Held annually, Hannover Messe is one of the world’s leading trade fairs for industrial technology. It brings together innovators, thought leaders, and industry experts from various sectors to showcase the latest advancements in technology, automation, and industrial solutions.
With a significant focus on Industry 4.0 and IoT integration in production environments, this was the right place for us to showcase the very potential of our smart industry monitoring solutions.
Staying in the Wireless Hall, we had an amazing opportunity to present different perspectives of the benefits of the IoT technology:
The combination of all these 3 things together allowed us to present the very full potential of IoT solutions on LoRaWAN, making it a perfect fit for industrial applications, while creating more efficient and flexible production environments.
Showcasing numerous live demos
With 20+ live use cases both on our stand and with few sensors distributed around the hall, we were able to showcase various smart industrial solutions in different use cases, such as:
- non-invasive energy consumption monitoring (individual machines or central unit)
- machine conditions monitoring (flow, temperature, vibrations,…)
- material & waste management in factories (levels or weighing, for any type of container and material)
- air quality monitoring (CO2, temperature, humidity,…)
- people & vehicle tracking (positioning, movement, in-transit)
- remote control with Class C devices (process automation)
Meeting many amazing people
As is usual at fairs like this, Hannover Messe also honored us with a large number of visitors from various fields.
This provided us an unparalleled opportunity to connect with industry professionals, exchange ideas, and forge partnerships that drive innovation and growth.
And thanks to this, we experienced numerous great opportunities to meet and talk with many:
- business experts and professionals not only from the industry sector
- technology engineers, manufacturers and distributors
- other solution providers using wireless technologies such as 5G, 6G
Likewise we very much appreciate meeting with some of our partners, friend, and other teams we already know who stopped by our stand.
It was a pleasure meeting the people from Seeed Studio, LoRa Alliance, LORIOT, WIKA, Senzemo, MOKOSMART, and others.
Official LNS product launch
On this special occasion of being at Hannover Messe, we decided to make it a place of our official launch of LoRaWAN Network Server we operate and manage together with our partner UPLINK Network. Being powered by Helium, in a literal meaning, we officially launched our LNS – LORAWAY: your way to the world of LoRaWAN – on the 3rd day of the fair.

Constant learning is the key
In addition to the exhibition part, we also found time to gain new knowledge and learn about the latest technology trends.
Therefore, apart from other opportunities, we were glad for the one to attend an IoT-Meet-Up event organized by IoT Use Case where we experienced other insights from the IoT space, having had lots of great talks and a good catering.
Moreover, to support the significance of the technology we use, we also attended a speech about the features and importance of LoRaWAN – LoRaWAN – Quo Vadis?! – delivered by our friend and partner Jubin Molai from UPLINK Network.
In summary, it was 5 days of a really successful fair for us where as the exhibitor we once again could not only advocate for the benefits of LoRaWAN, IoT and solutions we provide using the technology, but also broaden our knowledge by learning a lot of new things.
